    A Mighty Multimedia Convoy: The HTUF
    Truck2020 TwitStop


    To bring some multimedia, participatory fun to the HTUF 2009 convention and IBM's Truck2020 Study, all are welcome to collaboratively create a virtual collage of the event via Twitter: share your pictures, brief video clips and tweets via Web-enabled phones and mobile devices. Here are some simple instructions.

    1. Include the #truck2020 hashtag in your tweet, so that everyone can follow the content sharing.

    2. Send pictures of the convoy or you behind the wheel at the ride & drive. Show off your favorite trucks from mobile devices to image sharing services such as TwitPic, TweetPhoto or whatever service or site you prefer. See this article -- 5 ways to share images on Twitter for more options and tips, and remember to add #truck2020.

    3. Send short video clips to services such as 12seconds.tv, TweeTube, or Posterous. Tell the world about your favorite hybrid trucks, talk to the drivers, interview other HTUF Convoy watchers and participants.

    Some services enable you to share either photos or video clips, so check out 26 ways to share images and pictures on Twitter for even more options on ways to share your multimedia via mobile device, email, MMS.

    And remember, by adding #truck2020 to your tweet, you will enable us to collect and organize everyone's contributions for all to enjoy.

    Coke Hybrid Tractor, one of more than 25 clean trucks to hit Atlanta streets Oct 27 Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue declared the week of HTUF Hybrid Truck Week in the state of Georgia.

    The governor's proclamation will be read at the largest clean truck convoy ever to hit Atlanta on October 27. Jill Stuckey, the Director of the Center of Innovation for Energy at Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority (GEFA), will read the proclamation at 11:45am.
