Vice President, Trucks & Off-Road

Tor Larson is the Vice President of Trucks and Off-Road at CALSTART, leading all zero emissions heavy duty truck and off-road equipment programs across the organization aimed at creating a sustainable future for transportation and reduce greenhouse emissions globally. With over 20 years of experience in the fleet industry across all vehicle classes and equipment types including aviation, he brings a wealth of subject matter expertise and knowledge to CALSTART. He is driven by a deep passion for creating a sustainable future in transportation and mobility to help fight the climate crisis.

Prior to joining CALSTART, Tor worked at Amazon, building their Last and Middle delivery service programs. He built the framework for Amazon to deliver their first 40,000 delivery vans in 2019, 10,000 custom Rivian EVs, 3000+ CNG class 8 vehicles, and 30+ Class 8 EV trucks and infrastructure across Germany. Prior to Amazon, Tor has led various fleets and sustainability/electrification work at Swissport USA, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Zipcar, and AAA insurance.
