
Al Beatty
Program Manager, National Innovative Mobility
Al Beatty is a Program Manager leading the development of CALSTART’s national Innovative Mobility (IM) portfolio. By coordinating the IM Working Group and managing projects including mobility hub planning and implementation, community-based e-bike deployments, and last-mile delivery research and stakeholder outreach, Al seeks to advance innovative and equitable solutions for zero-emission passenger and goods movement.
Prior to joining CALSTART, Al was a Senior Transportation Planner at Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, where they focused on developing safe, accessible, and multimodal transportation networks in the Greater Philadelphia region. Al holds a master’s degree in urban planning from New York University, and a B.A. in environmental studies and anthropology from Stony Brook University. They are a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
