Technical Project Manager2
Alexandra Ivina is a Senior Project Manager with the Assessment and Validation team.
She has over 5 years of extensive experience in financial audit and project management. While working in financial sector and commuting over an hour each way, she developed an interest in EVs and infrastructure available to support them. Alexandra’s research led her to realize the vast difference in infrastructure and local incentives available in different regions, which was most evident in low income communities. Alexandra led the project within her company to retrofit parking spaces so they could be used for EV charging and initiated a project which led to additional installation of level 2 chargers.
Since, she has worked on a variety of projects including renewable energy road map for ViacomCBS Corporation, cost-benefit analysis for major California Energy Commission’s electrification initiatives, and market research to understand community charging needs for local startup, EVmatch.
Prior to joining CALSTART, Alexandra participated in EDF Climate Corps Fellowship leading a data analysis project to understand the impacts of COVID-19 on the property management space in energy usage, tenant perception and impact on the surrounding communities.
Alexandra has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from University of California, Santa Cruz. She also has a Master of Environmental Science and Management with a specialization in Energy and Climate from the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, University of California, Santa Barbara.
Additionally, Alexandra is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), holds Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and has LEED Green Associate credential.
