SUMMARY:Exploring the 2025 ZET Ahead Dashboard
DESCRIPTION:In an era of constrained funding and increasingly complex and competing priorities\, the ZET Ahead Dashboard (ZET = Zero-Emission Truck) provides state staff with a succinct playbook for initiating\, growing\, and sustaining an ecosystem for zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty vehicles (ZE-MHDVs). The ZET Ahead Dashboard is a one-of-a-kind interactive visualization of the progress states have made in accelerating the adoption of zero-emission vans\, trucks\, and buses. \n\n\n\nIt may be a cliche\, but you can’t manage what you can’t measure. The ZET Ahead Dashboard overcomes this obstacle by offering staff\, advocates\, and industry members a unique resource to easily see and quickly understand the progress states are making in this transition. \n\n\n\nAs of its October 2025 annual release\, the Dashboard now profiles 23 states and the District of Columbia as well as featuring a newly added Market Dimension: Economic Development\, which analyzes complementary tax and workforce development policies that encourage clean transportation investment. \n\n\n\nWant to learn more? Join CALSTART\, NASEO\, and featured state staff for a deep dive discussion Thursday\, January 15th 12 pm 1- pm EST.

SUMMARY:Exchange for More BETs Webinar
DESCRIPTION:The urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions requires a strong focus on the transport sector\, particularly on trucks due to their carbon footprint. Zero-emission trucks (ZETs) have the potential to provide substantial benefits\, including lower energy costs and improved working conditions. However\, these advantages must be validated and quantified through real-world deployments. While demonstration projects have been ongoing for several years\, their results and broader implications for the future of transportation have not been systematically analyzed across national borders. \n\n\n\nDespite the early stage of the ZET market\, Sweden and the United States are among the leading countries in the development and deployment of this technology. The accelerated adoption of ZETs depends on effective data collection and open communication about both the successes and challenges experienced by early adopters. International knowledge sharing can drive innovation by highlighting different strategies used to overcome common barriers to adoption. CALSTART and Lindholmen Science Park have played key roles in early deployment projects in the U.S. and Sweden\, working to understand how these vehicles perform in real-world fleet operations. \n\n\n\nFrom February 2024 to April 2025\, the Exchange for More BETs project\, funded by the Swedish Innovation Agency’s Future Mobility Program\, has provided a collaborative framework for CALSTART and Lindholmen Science Park to examine what has worked well\, what challenges remain\, and how lessons learned in one country can benefit the other. \n\n\n\nAgenda: \n\n\n\n• Swedish Deployment Projects Overview and Case Deep Dives presented by Lindholmen Science Park (LSP) \n\n\n\n • OEM experiences on electric truck deployment and future ramp-up in USA and Europe presented by Volvo \n\n\n\n• Comparison of the electric truck deployment and ramp-up in USA and Europe presented by CALSTART and LSP \n\n\n\n• Q&A

SUMMARY:Follow the Funds Part I: Meet the Air Districts
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first of our four-part Follow the Funds webinar series aimed at demystifying the fund procurement process by highlighting available funding for electrification projects throughout California and demonstrating real-life examples of fund-stacking between CALSTART and external funding sources\, LCFS credits\, tax credits\, and 0% loans to further reduce overhead project costs. This webinar will spotlight programmatic updates from three major California air districts: South Coast AQMD\, Bay Area AQMD\, and Sacramento AQMD\, spanning their light duty (LD) and Medium-and-heavy-duty (MDHD) electric vehicle and infrastructure initiatives. \n\n\n\nFollowing the air district team presentations\, CALSTART will demo custom funding scenarios built around the air district programs\, demonstrating how applicants can take their funds even further by leveraging CALSTART programs in-tandem with LCFS credits\, tax credits\, and 0% loans. \n\n\n\nCALSTART will host a 10-minute Q&A at the end of the session to field your funding questions for each air district\, before spotlighting and distributing key resources to assist your funding journey. \n\n\n\n20250509 Funding Webinars One Pager (1)Download\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCALSTART Follow the Funds Part I – Meet the Air DistrictsDownload
