Project Manager II

Lena is part of the Innovative Mobility team for CALSTART. As Project Manager for CARB’s Clean Mobility Options Voucher Pilot Program, Lena is responsible for overall program administration and voucher processing operations. Lena ardently shares CALSTART’s and CARB’s mutual goal of advancing shared, clean transportation options among underserved California communities. Lena’s urban planning and non-profit work experience has helped to inform her role in expanding clean mobility options among underserved California communities.

Lena obtained a Master of Arts in Urban Planning from UCLA and has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a minor in Art History from Bowdoin College. Prior to CALSTART, Lena provided grants administration for non-profits that served homeless and inner-city Los Angeles youth, including Skid Row Housing Trust and “I Have a Dream” Foundation – Los Angeles. She also previously worked as a marketing and outreach program consultant for Energy Upgrade California, a statewide energy efficiency building retrofit program. Prior to that, she served as a municipal planner in the San Gabriel Valley.
