The state’s incentive programs are proving to play a key role in jump starting investments, says Rachel Chard, deputy director of CALSTART’s Electric School Bus projects. The nonprofit, which works to accelerate the development and adoption of clean transportation technologies, is implementing the ZESBI project on behalf of CARB and CEC.
It is these incentive programs and state mandates that are driving market growth, Chard notes.
