Clean technologies will roll into Syracuse for a vehicle showcase + ride & drive experience.

CALSTART Media Contact: Jennifer Smith, jsmith@calstart.org, 301-988-0194

In its fifth year, Clean Trucks NY 2025, co-hosted by CALSTART and the Trucking Association of New York (TANY), will showcase the breadth of zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) available on today’s market and offer a packed agenda that will cover state policy, technology innovations, workforce development, community engagement, and funding opportunities. Through dynamic educational sessions, attendees will learn how to get started with making the transition to clean technologies and applying for funds through the New York Truck Voucher Incentive Program (NYTVIP). Participants can experience a range of ZEVs onsite first-hand and explore a resources area with participating vehicle and equipment manufacturers.

WHO: This event is attended by fleet managers.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

NYTVIP provides vouchers, or discounts, to Fleets (Vehicle/Equipment Purchasers and Operators) across New York State that purchase or lease medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission battery electric (BEV) or hydrogen fuel cell electric (FCEV) vehicles, electric non-road equipment, and BEV or FCEV transit buses.

NYTVIP added $53 million in new funding in June 2025. The program now includes zero-emission non-road equipment, Class 3 vehicles, increased voucher amounts, bonus incentives and more. Manufacturers are invited to submit applications for their vehicles or equipment to become eligible under the program.

The period to apply for incentives will open in early August 2025; the federal tax credit will expire for commercial electric vehicles after September 30, 2025.
