OSSINING, NY — CALSTART and the Trucking Association of New York (TANY) are excited to welcome guests back to Clean Trucks NY, taking place on July 20–21, 2026, at the Windrose on Hudson conference center in Ossining, NY. This year’s event features a keynote address from New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) President and CEO Doreen M. Harris. The event is set to bring attendees a content-loaded agenda and an electrifying vehicle showcase.
Now in its sixth year, this event, supported by NYSERDA and Empire Clean Cities, offers trucking industry professionals, fleet managers, infrastructure developers, government officials, and environmental advocates an opportunity to learn about state and federal clean transportation policy updates, receive guidance on zero-emission truck incentives, and hear real-world experiences about going electric from early adopters while networking with industry leaders.
Clean Trucks NY is designed to empower New York’s trucking industry with the knowledge and resources they need to cost-effectively transition to clean transportation and reduce transportation-related emissions statewide. With a renewed focus on workforce development and community engagement, the conference will foster greater collaboration between fleets, the growing electric vehicle/charging workforce, and the communities they serve.
“New York is a leader in clean trucking, with more zero-emission trucks on the road than any state in the region,” said CALSTART’s Senior Director, Northeast Region, Jordan Stutt. “Clean Trucks NY puts that leadership on display, highlighting the innovators in government and industry who are driving the transition to a zero-emission future.”
“Clean Trucks NY has become the premier forum for bringing together the people who are actually moving New York’s freight and the innovators helping shape its future,” said Zach Miller, TANY’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “Our goal is simple: give fleets the information, tools, and real-world perspectives they need to make informed decisions. Whether it’s electric vehicles, alternative fuels, infrastructure, workforce development, or incentive programs, this conference is about creating practical pathways that keep goods moving while supporting cleaner transportation solutions for New York.”
Educational sessions will run throughout the course of the event, and there will be a zero-emission vehicle showcase for attendees to explore cutting-edge cleaner technologies firsthand. Vehicles onsite will include the latest offerings from Hendrickson Work Trucks, OrangeEV, and International Trucks, among others.
Key topics at the event include:
- Charging at Freight Hubs: Ports, Warehouses, and Distribution Centers
- Alternative Fuels
- Community Perspectives
- Zero-Emission Fleet Showcase.
NYSERDA President and CEO Doreen M. Harris said, “NYSERDA is proud to support the Clean Trucks NY Conference featuring the latest insights on zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty trucks and the benefits of fleet transition. As this year’s keynote speaker, I am excited to share how New York State’s leadership in electrifying the transportation sector is lowering costs for consumers and businesses, helping protect against the volatility of gasoline prices, and reducing air pollution in our communities.”
“New York is helping shape the future of clean freight, and Clean Trucks NY brings together the fleets, innovators, policymakers, and community leaders making that progress possible,” said Joy Gardner, Executive Director of Empire Clean Cities. “We’re proud to partner on an event that helps turn ideas into action and accelerates the transition to cleaner, more-efficient transportation.”
This hands-on event is a must for trucking industry professionals and for anyone interested in switching to cleaner technologies to better the air across local communities.
