Work History

Jason is an innovative and creative sustainability leader with a decade of experience in the clean transportation sector, guiding electric vehicle and related projects of advanced complexity and scale. Prior to joining CALSTART, Jason oversaw electric vehicle initiatives at NYSERDA, including market development programs, technology demonstrations, and utility interactions related to the electrification of transport as well as EV outreach and education programs.

He performed policy and market research on sector initiatives including improving the business case for EV charging station infrastructure, as well as smart mobility programs. Prior to NYSERDA, Jason was a Director at HBO.

Jason currently leads the Light Duty Vehicles team, which oversees exciting and groundbreaking projects to advance ride-hail electrification, EV charging education, green steel and battery manufacturing. Jason also advances policy initiatives that support ZEV requirements and establish bold post-2025 standards, regulations and market animation.

Work Approach

There could not be a more exciting time to work on the decarbonization of transport, as a confluence of change across regulation, technology and policy is poised to end ICE hegemony within a generation. I am honored to do my part to accelerate that effort.
