Work History

Stacey has built her career advancing clean energy, sustainable transportation, and community-driven solutions. Her journey began in the Peace Corps, where she focused on community development and capacity building—an experience that shaped her passion for making a tangible impact.

At the Governor’s Energy Office, she led programs that promoted renewable energy and energy efficiency, playing a key role in shaping state policy and supporting successful project implementation. She then transitioned to the utility sector at Xcel Energy, where she contributed to clean transportation initiatives and developed strategies to expand EV adoption and infrastructure.

Stacey later brought her expertise to 7-Eleven, where she helped launch and scale the 7Charge EV charging network, further accelerating the shift toward electric mobility. Her work with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program deepened her commitment to reducing petroleum dependence and advancing alternative fuel solutions.

With a career spanning policy, utilities, private sector innovation, and nonprofit collaboration, Stacey thrives at the intersection of sustainability, strategy, and impact. As a Senior Director at CALSTART, she continues to lead efforts that drive the clean energy transition forward.
