Why California nonprofit was chosen to oversee Oregon climate projects

CALSTART, a California-based clean transportation nonprofit, has been chosen to administer local climate investments under Oregon’s Climate Protection Program.

“In their application and interview with us, they really demonstrated broad experience with balancing the fiduciary responsibility, as a third-party administrator of public funds, with demonstrated experience in implementing projects in environmental justice in disadvantaged communities,” Feldon said. “This balance is exactly what we were looking for.”
