Project Manager I, Global Off-Road Equipment

Daniela joined CALSTART as Project Manager I with a focus on growing our global portfolio in the off-road equipment sector. Working strategically in tandem with the CORE team to accelerate the global transition to a decarbonized off-road sector.

Before joining CALSTART, Daniela worked at the Centro Mario Molina as a researcher and at the Centro de Movilidad Sostenible as Head of Communication and Development, specializing in transportation. In these roles, she focused on the Regional Support and Investment Platform for Electric Mobility Programs in Latin America and the Caribbean. A major achievement during her tenure as manager of the GEF7 was leading Caribbean countries in implementing various projects with governments and authorities. Additionally, she advised the Chilean Ministry of Energy on implementing new standards for medium and heavy-duty vehicles (MDV and HDV). Her career spans clean public transportation, developing new technologies, organizing international events, project management, and sustainability communications. Daniela holds a degree in Civil Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad de Chile.

In her free time, Daniela enjoys sustainable fashion design, hello kitty, hiking, and basketball (she is a huge Golden State Warriors fan!!).
