Cassandra Savel

Cassandra joined CALSTART in February 2022 as an Associate Project Manager for the Clean Off-Road Equipment Voucher Incentive Project (CORE). In her role, she focuses on supporting California CORE through industry stakeholder engagement, dealer trainings, and data analysis.

Previously, she worked as an analyst for the corporate social responsibility department at onsemi, a semiconductor supplier in Phoenix, Arizona. In this position, she developed a company reporting document for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and assisted with the success of business sustainability and social impact programs globally. Cassandra has also been involved with supporting a circular economy start-up incubator during her time working for ASU Rob and Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Service. Passionate about making a positive impact on her community and the planet, she is consistently engaged in volunteer efforts around environmental action and community development.

Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability with a specialization in Energy, Materials, and Technology from Arizona State University. As an honors student, her research was focused on analyzing recycling methods for magnets used in wind turbines. Additionally, she holds a certificate in Sustainable Supply Chain Management from the University of Cambridge.
