Deidre Strohm is CALSTART’s first Director of Development, who brings with her more than 14 years of experience in the nonprofit sector building and managing fundraising programs for expanding nonprofits. With her experience in both public and private sector funding, Deidre strategically builds the necessary infrastructure to support the important work CALSTART undertakes in the clean transportation arena locally, nationally and globally to make our planet a better place to live, work, and play.
Deidre is a storyteller by trade and holds a Master’s in Professional Writing from The University of Southern California, an Executive MBA from The Quantic School of Business and Technology, and a B.A. with a dual major in English and Women’s Studies from Wichita State University. She currently sits on the Board of the USC Lambda LGBTQ+ Alumni Association and is the Chair of the Board Development Committee, serves on the USC Women’s Conference Committee, is a member of the Writer’s Guild of America West, and The Los Angeles Council of Charitable Gift Planners.
In her free time, Deidre enjoys completing home improvement projects, exploring the world, and using her strategic acumen at the poker tables.
