Fife Dealership Expands Commercial-Vehicle EV Lineup with Daimler Truck’s Rizon

A new South Sound dealership focused exclusively on zero-emission commercial-vehicle sales and service recently became the first authorized sales and service partner in Washington for Daimler Truck’s Rizon Class 4 and 5 battery-electric, medium-duty commercial trucks, according to an announcement last week.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation website, WAZIP is funded by the state’s Climate Commitment Act, managed by WSDOT, and administered by CALSTART, a nonprofit organization working nationally and internationally with businesses and governments to develop clean, efficient transportation solutions. The program will help businesses and fleets buy cleaner commercial vehicles and equipment, such as delivery vans, semi-trucks, tractors, and forklifts, WSDOT’s website says. CALSTART offers a link to the WAZIP program, including program updates.
