Shuhan Song

Data Scientist

Shuhan joined CALSTART in 2021 as an Associate Project Manager. She works in the Validation and Assessment team, focusing on data collection and analysis for several projects under the Trucks and No-Road Vehicle Initiative. She aims to support the expansion of clean transportation and contribute to the mitigation of climate change using her understanding and skills in data science.

Prior to joining CALSTART, Shuhan worked for The Nature Conservancy, Global Environmental Institute, and the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology at Berkeley. She developed a wild pig management plan by modeling the species population, drafted report for UN Biodiversity Conference, and maintained herpetology lab as a curatorial assistant. Her career spans the areas of conservation, climate change, and now clean transportation. Lastly, Shuhan holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School at UCSB and a B.S. of Environmental Sciences from UC Berkeley.
