Work History

Yujie “Johnny” Ye joins CALSTART after the successful completion of a capstone project with Social Insider, where he successfully developed forecasting models, enabling better marketing strategies for clients. Previously, during his Master’s at Duke University, he designed and launched an interactive forecasting dashboard under the guidance of a professor at the Fuqua School of Business, which was highly praised by peers and faculty for its usability and insightful analytics.

Work Approach

To CALSTART, Johnny brings his skills at Developing ETL pipelines and data workflows using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms. He is also proficient at building interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau, Power BI, and R Shiny; implementing machine learning and statistical models for forecasting and predictive analytics; optimizing SQL queries and managing databases to ensure efficient data retrieval; and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
