Lead Project Manager, Bus and Innovative Mobility

Chrystal joined CALSTART in 2021 as a Project Manager for the Clean Mobility Options Voucher Pilot Program. She then transitioned to the HVIP program under the Bus initiative in the Fall of 2022.

Prior to joining CALSTART, Chrystal worked for the North Coast Unified Air Quality Management District as an Air Quality Specialist. In this position, she was the Project Lead for the Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program (Carl Moyer Program)  and the Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (Farmer) Grant Programs which provide incentives for cleaner-than-required engines and equipment for on-road, off-road, Marine and agricultural sources. She also assisted in the development and project management for the Rural School Bus Pilot Project (RSBPP). The RSBPP grant aimed at accelerating the turnover of California School Bus Fleets to near-zero and zero emission transportation choices, with a focus on rural school districts. Chrystal holds an A.A. Degree with Honors in University Studies, majoring in Psychology, from College of the Redwoods.
