Work History

Kabir is a financing and investment expert in zero-emissions technologies. He was previously a Project Manager & Graduate Consultant for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, where he developed financial models to support the bank in testing its investment thesis on EV charging infrastructure.

As CALSTART’s EV Industry Assessment Specialist, Kabir focuses on identifying investment barriers facing the zero-emissions transportation sector and stewarding scalable solutions in partnership with CALSTART’s member companies.

Kabir leads CALSTART’s work on e-truck residual values, charging site utilization risk, and other critical financial topics. His work is featured on CALSTART’s Innovative Financing Toolkit.
