Work History
Lais Caldeira dedicated over four years to developing transportation infrastructure in Brazil while working at the National Confederation of Transport. During this time, Lais authored multiple reports assessing infrastructure conditions and identifying key investment needs to enhance the country’s transport network. She conducted rigorous research on the technical aspects of transportation infrastructure, leveraging data gathering and analysis.
More recently, Lais completed a summer internship at RMI, which deepened her understanding of the transport decarbonization landscape in the U.S. and led to her current role at CALSTART. Lais now advances zero-emission transportation solutions through demonstration and technical feasibility projects.
