Project Manager EU, Drive to Zero

Rowana Legito joined CALSTART in 2023 as Project Manager EU – Drive to Zero. She supports the Drive to Zero’s activities in Europe to accelerate the growth of global zero-emission medium and heavy duty vehicle deployment. Rowana will mainly focus on setting up and leading the work on the Implementation Hubs in Europe.

Before joining CALSTART, Rowana has worked as zero-emission consultant at EVConsult, a consultancy firm specialized in electric transport and charging infrastructure. She has worked with the Dutch government, provinces, municipalities and several (international) corporate actors, writing policy and strategies and managing policy and strategy projects and managing procurement procedures for charging infrastructure. Prior to working with EVConsult, she worked as an account manager and project manager for an e-commerce firm in the boating industry.

Rowana holds a Master’s degree in Political Science/International Political Economy with a specialization in sustainability and CSR from the University of Amsterdam, and she holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and International Organization from the University of Groningen. Rowana is based in Europe, and currently lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
