Noah Hernandez
Associate Proposal Support Manager
Noah Hernandez joined CALSTART in 2022 as an intern on the Development Team, where he gained insight into revenue generation for non-profits within the clean transportation sector. In his current full-time role, Noah is involved in various projects, including building new funding relations, managing CALSTART’s project data, preparing government proposals, and collaborating with multiple CALSTART teams to improve internal processes. His primary focus is managing all government-related projects within the development space. Noah is dedicated to communicating equity-based data, enhancing storytelling, and securing new funding for the organization.
Before joining CALSTART, Noah interned at a small urban forestry non-profit, where he engaged in policy research and bilingual communications work. He also served as a DEI educator for student organizations at his alma mater, the University of Southern California. His passion for clean transportation arises from his interest in the intersection between environmental sustainability and equity. Noah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Urban Sustainable Planning.
