Liza joined CALSTART in March 2022 as an Electric School Bus Intern for the Bus Team. In August 2022, she joined CALSTART full-time as an Associate Project Manager for the team. Liza assists in executing the Electric School Bus Working Groups, where she coordinates outreach and communications and helps to strategize the storytelling and creative direction for the Electric School Bus Network.

Before joining CALSTART, Liza received her undergraduate degree in environmental science from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in Design for Sustainability from the Savannah College of Art and Design. While at SCAD, her thesis explored the topic of collective climate action and how the organizational structure of businesses can impact sustainability initiatives.
