Contract Specialist

Grace Muasa Joined CALSTART in January 2023 as Contracts Specialist in the Accounting and Finance Team. Grace assists in managing contract development, preparation, management system, compliance, filing and record keeping of all contracts and other procurement duties.

Before joining CALSTART, Grace held the Procurement & Contracts Supervisory position for 8 years, Contract Specialist for 4 years and Procurement Specialist for 9 years with the US Department of State (US Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya and Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea). Grace holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration & Management and US Department of State Training and Certification in Contracts, Procurement Administration and Management, from the Foreign Services Institue (FSI) in Arlington Virginia. Grace has over 21 years of extensive experience in Contracts administration, Management, Commercial Acquisition, Simplified Acquisition and a background in Finance Appropriation Law.
