Deputy Director, Truck & Off-Road Programs

JJ Fairbanks is the Deputy Director, Truck & Off-Road – Voucher processing. In this position, JJ will work to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission medium and heavy-duty trucks by building our internal voucher processing center for the California Air Resources Board (CARB), Zero Emission School Bus Initiative (ZESBI), Clean Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Program (HVIP) and any future VIP opportunity. JJ is a former consultant, business owner, and start-up enthusiast and has matured into an accomplished Operations & Process Improvement professional with experience identifying achievement gaps and championing initiatives from ideation through stabilization in areas of Logistics & Distribution, Software & Tech, and start-up environments.

JJ earned his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and Finance minor from Arizona State University, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from Washington State University, is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified, is Crum Master Certified (SMC), and Project Management Professional (PMP) trained.

A Washington native, JJ works diligently to keep pace with his 3- and 7-year-old daughters and labors side by side with his wife performing many home remodeling projects.
