People Resources Manager – Operations

Orrissa Allen joined CALSTART in January of 2023 as a People Operations Manager. She works on a broad scope of People Operations projects, focusing on developing strategic operational plans for processes improvement, J.E.D.I., employee experience, and compliance.

Prior to joining CALSTART, Orrissa worked for inHealth Lifestyle Therapeutics as an Operations & Human Resources Manager. In this position, she focused on developing key departments by leading projects, improving processes, and outlining key objectives and expectations. One major achievement from her time as an Operations/HR Manager was leading the project transitioning from a human resources information system (HRIS) to a professional employer organization (PEO) Platform, resulting in improved processes, recruiting, benefits offerings, performance reviews, and more. Orrissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida and is currently working on completing a Master’s in Business Management with a focus in Project Management.

While launching her career at CALSTART, she will be pursuing a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certificate in order to enhance her education and better support the organization.
