Senior Director, Innovative Mobility Initiative

Robyn Marquis joined CALSTART in 2022 as the Director of Innovative Mobility. She oversees the Clean Mobility Options Voucher Pilot Program (CMO) team, which administers this first-in-the-nation program to provide zero-emission mobility to underserved communities and improve their quality of life. She also oversees CALSTART’s Innovative Mobility Working Group, a consortium of over 50 transit agencies, service and technology providers, and other key stakeholders advancing better mobility options to reduce climate impacts. Robyn aims to grow the Innovative Mobility initiative to improve the affordability and accessibility of zero-emission options, while reducing overall vehicle miles traveled.

Prior to joining CALSTART, Robyn worked for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) as the Program Lead for the New York Clean Transportation Prizes, an $85 million initiative to improve mobility and accelerate electrification in underserved communities. While at NYSERDA, Robyn managed a large portfolio of innovation and market development projects and oversaw a joint research program with the NYS Department of Transportation. She also served as an officer for the Intelligent Transportation Society of New York. Robyn holds a BS in Civil Engineering, and MS and PhD in Transportation Engineering, all from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY.
