Sarah Stalcup-Jones

Project Manager II, Electric School Buses

Sarah Stalcup-Jones joined CALSTART in 2024 as a Project Manager II on the Electric School Bus Team. Her role involves providing technical assistance to school bus fleets across the country by developing fleet transition plans, giving planning support, and connecting fleets to tools and resources.

Prior to joining CALSTART, Sarah worked for Virginia Clean Cities as their Research and Heavy-Duty Vehicle Program Manager and Chief Equity Officer. During this time, she led the Mid-Atlantic Electric School Bus Experience Project and many of the organization’s other heavy-duty and equity-focused projects. Sarah holds a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Environmental Studies and Sustainability with a minor in History from Drexel University.
