Electric School Bus Incentives Project Manager

Skyler joined CALSTART in December 2023 as an Electric School Bus Incentives Project Manager. In this role, Skyler will be coordinating electric school bus funding for primarily rural and underserved school districts. Prior to joining CALSTART, Skyler was a Customer Program Administrator on Xcel Energy’s Clean Transportation Team. In this position, Skyler administered rebate programs for light duty EVs and charging stations, with a specific focus on serving underserved communities in Colorado. She also worked on the Fleet Electrification Advisory Program and Electric Vehicle Supply Infrastructure Programs, providing technical assistance and secondary electric infrastructure to fleets looking to transition to electric. Prior to her utility experience, Skyler worked for Northern Colorado Clean Cities where she coordinated state grant funding for EV chargers. Skyler graduated from Colorado State University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Her concentration in Environmental Policy and minor in Global Environmental Sustainability led Skyler to the electrification industry where she finds fulfillment in working with innovative, passion-driven, and like-minded teams.
