Senior Director, Clean Fuels & Infrastructure

Stacey Simms holds the role of Senior Director, Clean Fuels and Infrastructure at CALSTART, overseeing all programs and projects related to clean fuel and charging technologies and supporting infrastructure across the transportation spectrum at the company. She has extensive experience in the clean energy and transportation fields, from an impressively diverse variety of roles

Before joining CALSTART, Simms was the Senior Manager, EV Policy and Incentives at 7-Eleven, leading the company’s teams in building out the 7Charge EV charging network throughout the U.S and Canada. Simms’ other roles have included senior business consultant for clean transportation at Xcel Energy, where she led teams in launching the Electric Fleet Advisory Program, the Electric School Bus Incentive Program and the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program; and associate director of programs at the Colorado Energy Office, leading the team responsible for more than $200M in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Simms also served in El Salvador as a member of the Peace Corps.
