Volvo LIGHTS Project: Summary Report
The summary report for the historic Volvo LIGHTS Project is an in-depth assessment of the partnering fleets’ zero-emission (ZE) technologies deployed at their Southern California facilities. It provides a comparison between conventional diesel and propane-fueled equipment and the ZE equipment deployed on the basis of vehicle performance, energy consumption, lifetime costs, and emissions offsets. It also documents key learnings and best practices for other freight facilities to help accelerate their transition to ZE operations. Volvo LIGHTS was funded by the California Air Resources Board, South Coast Air Quality Management District, and Volvo Group.
